OSI Building Systems was established in January of 1979 and has been in continuous operation ever since. The plant is approximately 100,000 square feet in size, located on 23 acres in northwest Montgomery, Alabama. We have a panel forming line, a purlin Mill, a plasma burning table that is CNC controlled to cut within .005 of an inch with full repeatability, a precision computer controlled folding machine with a 26’/14 gage capability and a beam welding line that can produce frames up to 80' long x 96" deep. OSI provides integrated building packages including PEMB, structural steel, joist and deck when required.

The buildings we manufacture are designed using the latest available software and certified by OSI Building Systems’ Professional Engineer to the appropriate codes and industry standards. The drafting department prepares the shop drawings, erection drawings, approval drawings and all shipping lists.

The additional support services of purchasing, administration, finance and project management are all in-house. The sales force works throughout the nation with a focus on the southeastern states. Our buildings are known for ease of assembly. We are also well regarded as a company that will take on unusual buildings that others avoid. OSI designs and manufactures airplane “T-hangars”, maintenance hangars and its own bottom rolling – top guided hangar doors for exposures up to 150 mph.
